Hawaiian Cruises
Our Hawaiian Cruises provide a festive tropical atmosphere with Hawaiian cuisine. Customers are provided with leis and are encouraged to wear your grass skirt or favorite Hawaiian shirt. The cruises are from 7:30-9:30 pm on Friday nights. Cash bar available.
4th of July Fireworks Cruises
The Fireworks Cruise gives you the best seat on the Lake to see the magnificent fireworks display by Saunders Vol Fire Dept. Dress in your red, white & blue attire & enjoy a picnic BBQ dinner with us. Were not sure of the 2012 date. Once we know we’ll post it. The Cruise will be from 8:00-11:00pm. Cash bar available.
“Flotilla for Toys” Cruise
Our Flotilla for Toys Boat Parade of Lights is an annual event held by the Virginia Dare Cruises & Marina working hand in hand with Lake Christian Ministries.
The Virginia Dare leads boats decorated with thousands of Christmas lights to Hales Ford Bridge, SML State Park & back to Port as a way to collects toys and make Christmas brighter for local children in need. This year’s event is Nov 26th and begins at 7:00 pm. Cash bar available.
Wildlife Wednesday Cruises
The Wildlife Wednesday Cruises are the first Wednesday of the month May-October. A Park Ranger from Smith Mountain Lake State Park provides informative and entertaining information about wildlife above, in & around the Lake, usually after lunch is enjoyed on board. Cruises are from 12:00-2:00 pm.
Mothers Day Cruise
The Mothers Day Cruise will be on May 13, 2012 from 2:00-4:00pm. Do something unique for Mom!! Lets make Mom feel special. Bring her out on beautiful Smith Mountain Lake for a 2 hour cruise and Lunch. Mom’s get a $5.00 discount and a flower as beautiful as she is.
Fathers Day Cruise
The Fathers Day Cruise will be on June 17, 2012 from 2:00-4:00pm. Every Dad is unique and special. Let him know how much your care and love him. Bring him out on a relaxing 2 hour cruise and have lunch while taking in sights. Dad’s get a $5.00 discount
Home Tour Luncheon Cruise
The 2011 Smith Mountain Lake Home Charity Tour Luncheon Cruise will be on October 9, 2011 from 2-4. Come and enjoy a 2 hour cruise and delicious Luncheon as we cruise by 3 to 4 of the homes on the 2011 Home Tour. There will be a SML Home Tour representative on board to give you some history and to answer questions about the SML Home Charity Tour. Every person with a Home Tour Ticket will receive a $5.00 discount. You must mention when you make reservation that you have a Home Tour Ticket and present at check in to receive discount.
